Santa Monica condo sales remain strong in 2009

Real Estate is really very simple. If the price is to high, then you get no bidders or bottom feeders throwing you low ball offers. If the price is right, then the real buyers show up with their checkbooks in hand.

For condos in Santa Monica, Venice and Marina del Rey, those principles continue to hold strong. I am having trouble holding on to any of my listings because they are selling so fast. Why is that my clients' properties are moving in a terrible market? It is because they do all the right things I ask of them. Clear out the clutter, touch up paint, put the furniture in the most appealing places. THEN PRICE IT BASED ON REAL MARKET COMPS, not false emotions.
